About ME

I'm so glad that you found my page! I  I am a life long musician and photographer... It just took me a little longer to fully develop my photography skills!

As a photographer I enjoy creating images in a variety of settings. I photograph weddings, families, professional portraits, sports and nature & landscapes. Variety is the spice of life!

I have spent the better part of 31 years expressing myself through my flute and piano playing, eventually earning a degree in Music Therapy. I am passionate about music therapy and helping kids to be successful. If you are looking for music therapy, you can find my music therapy page housed on my website as well. If variety is the spice of life, then I’m offering you some spice!!

However, I was also a young kid who had her own camera and photo album. I took my camera everywhere!! First a 110mm film camera, then a 35 mm film camera, then finally my first digital after I got married. Fast forward to after the birth of my 2nd child when I got my first DSLR, and my life became irrevocably changed--In the best way possible! I finally discovered that everything I saw and attempted to recreate through my little camera, was possible with the right camera, lens, and settings. Through the advice of a friend, I began learning the manual settings from the get go. That opened the door to fully understanding my camera and fully expanding my potential. A couple years after that first camera, people began asking if they could hire me! That was the beginning of this exciting new journey for me and my camera.  

Along with my work as a photographer, I am a Board Certified Music Therapist, a mom of 3 amazing girls, and a wife to a professional musician.
